If you’ve ever caught an episode of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” you may have thought to yourself that being a bounty hunter is a pretty cool job. After all, going after people who have violated their bail agreements can get pretty intense.
Bounty hunters have had prominent roles in the history of film. If you’re looking for good films that revolves around the actions of bounty hunters, here are a few movies you should watch:
Beck (Dwayne Johnson), an amateur chef, is hired by a mob boss to recover his son (Sean William Scott) from the Amazon. “The Rundown” is generally seen as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s first good film in a lead role.
No Country for Old Men
“No Country for Old Men” is set in rural Texas, USA. Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) finds and takes two million dollars at the site of a drug exchange gone wrong instead of reporting it to the police. Anton Chirugh (Javier Bardem), a “no holds barred” bounty hunter, goes after the money Moss takes. As Moss attempts to flee, Sherrif Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) investigates the crimes that Chirugh leaves behind.
If you’re looking for something a little more classic, check out “Bailout”, a.k.a. “W.B., Blue, and the Bean”. The story revolves around Nettie (Linda Blair), a witness in a high-profile drug case. White Bread (David Hasselhoff) and two other bounty hunters are sent to rescue her after she is abducted by a Colombian drug cartel.
